About Me

I’m a generalist engineer with deep experience in Product Engineering and DevSecOps. I’m currently leading Security Research at Blueflag Security, a seed-funded SDLC security startup based in Hyderabad. As part of a small team, I get to contribute to all facets of engineering, from initial concept and R&D to development and deployment. My work has involved architecting and building a suite of Shift-Left security tools, including:

  • Secrets Scanner
  • Vulnerability Management Platform
  • Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
  • Enhancements to in-house Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) capabilities
  • Software Composition Analysis (SCA) / Software Supply Chain Security tools
  • Code to Cloud context mapping
  • Systems for establishing clear visibility on repository and cloud asset ownership

Beyond my core role, I’m a volunteer at r/DevelopersIndia, an online community for software professionals in India. I also took a 3-hour workshop recently on PostgreSQL security as part of Postgres Women India’s Upskilling Program.
